DELIVERY:
We will always attempt to dispatch orders the same day as purchased if ordered before 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday, or those placed on a Saturday or Sunday, will be processed and dispatched on Monday morning. Standard delivery will take 3-5 working days, Next Day delivery for orders placed before 2pm will be the next working day.

We hope that you will be happy with your purchases however if you are not completely satisfied we will gladly offer you a refund. Please read the following returns policy, we reserve the right to refuse returns if these terms are not adhered to. The EU distance selling regulations gives you the right to cancel your order at any time and for any reason within 7 days of receipt. Parkinsons wishes to extend this period to 28 days but would like to emphasise that this time limit is strict.

You may return the products to us; unwashed and unworn, in the original packaging and with all labels and tags intact within 28 days of receipt. You will need to complete the returns form enclosed with your order and include this in the return package alongside the items you are returning. If you have not got a returns form this can be downloaded from the website ‘returns policy’ page. Once we receive the returned items we will refund the price of the purchase to the original payment method detailed on the order form. For obvious hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns on underwear and items of swimwear are only returnable if they have been tried on over underwear and if the hygiene strips are intact.

The return package is your responsibility until it reaches us therefore we recommend that you send the package by recorded delivery and retain your proof of postage. The cost of returning an item is your responsibility. Alternatively you can return items to our shop, unwashed and unworn, in the original packaging and with all labels and tags intact within 28 days of receipt. Please note, however, as our websales department operates separately from our sale points in store we cannot make refunds directly to you from the shop till, such refunds must go through the website to your original method of payment. This will usually be done in 1-2 days.

EXCHANGES:

If you would like make a return, we request that you return the products to us; unwashed and unworn, in the original packaging and with all labels and tags intact, within 28 days of receipt. The easiest way to exchange will be to just return the item(s) following the process above and repurchase through our website if the size you want is available.

We will always check the availability of the product for you if you are unsure, just give us a call on 01789 264747 and we can advise further. FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS:

If your products are faulty or damaged please contact us immediately at sales@parkinsonslifestyle.com or by phone. We can then provide a free returns label and you can then return the products to us as above within 28 days of receipt. We will then fully refund the price of the purchase to the original payment method detailed on the order form. Please note; items are classified as faulty if they are damaged when you receive them. Items that are damaged as a result of abuse, misuse or fair wear and tear are not considered to be faulty

INCORRECT ITEM RECEIVED:

With the right care, quality clothing and footwear can look great and last for years. Below is some general guidance for common materials, but always check the individual care label and manufacturer’s instructions before cleaning, washing or treating your purchase. Where specific instructions differ, the care label should always take precedence.

Leather
Keep leather clean and conditioned using suitable leather-care products. Avoid soaking and allow wet leather to dry naturally, away from direct heat.

Waxed Products
Waxed garments should be re-waxed when required to maintain their protective finish. Avoid machine washing unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer, as this can remove the wax coating.

Suede
Protect suede from moisture with a suitable suede protector and use a suede brush to remove surface dirt. Avoid excessive water and unsuitable cleaning products.

Nubuck
Use products specifically designed for nubuck and gently brush away dirt with a suitable nubuck brush. Avoid standard leather creams, which can alter the finish.

Wool & Cashmere
Follow the care label carefully and avoid excessive washing. Where hand washing is recommended, use a suitable gentle detergent and dry flat to help maintain the garment’s shape.

Cotton
Wash according to the care label and avoid unnecessarily high temperatures, which can cause shrinkage and fading. Wash darker colours separately where appropriate.

Denim
To help preserve colour and shape, wash denim only when necessary and follow the care label. Washing inside out and at a lower temperature can help reduce fading.

Knitwear
Follow the manufacturer's washing instructions and avoid hanging heavy knitwear, as this can cause it to stretch. Where appropriate, dry knitwear flat and reshape while damp.

Technical & Waterproof Fabrics
Technical garments and footwear often have specialist waterproof or breathable finishes. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and use only recommended cleaning and reproofing products.

Canvas
Gently brush away surface dirt and clean according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Avoid excessive soaking and allow canvas footwear or bags to dry naturally.

Synthetic Fabrics
Materials such as polyester and nylon are generally easy to care for, but specific finishes and blends can require different treatment. Always follow the garment's care label.

Sheepskin & Shearling
Avoid excessive moisture and use only products specifically designed for sheepskin or shearling. Allow wet items to dry naturally and never place them directly against a radiator or other heat source.

Down & Quilted Garments
Follow the manufacturer's washing and drying instructions carefully. Proper drying is particularly important to prevent the filling from clumping and to help maintain the garment's loft and warmth.

General Care
Different fabrics, finishes and products require different methods of care. Parkinsons recommends always following the care label supplied with your item and using products specifically designed for the material.
