The Blundstone Story

Blundstone started life making boots for the workers and farmers of Tasmania — people who needed footwear that could handle demanding physical conditions and keep going long after other boots would have given up. The elastic-sided Chelsea boot design — borrowed from the Victorian riding boot — proved perfectly suited to this purpose: no laces to undo, easy on and off, and constructed to last. More than 150 years later, that design remains essentially unchanged, which is testament to how right it was from the start.

The Blundstone Range

Our Blundstone collection spans the brand's most important styles. The 500 in stout brown and 510 in voltan black are the classic starting points — timeless Chelsea boots in smooth leather. The 550 in walnut and 585 in rustic brown add warmer tones to the range. The 562 Chelsea boot in saddle brown, 587 in rustic black, and 1306 in rustic brown extend the options further. For women, the 1919 in brown/mustard, 1917 in black/navy, 2322 in waxed suede dark olive, and 1944 bring Blundstone's quality to styles designed for the female foot. Dress boot options include the 1900 in chestnut for men and the 1673 heeled boot for women. The 2421 Original Clog adds a different silhouette to the range.
